AFNS ADMISSION Methods
AFNS registration divided into two categories. Trained Nurses and other is fresh students having qualification FSc (Pre-Medical).
- Permanent Regular Commission (PRC)
- Short Service Regular Commission (SSRC)
Female students can join Pakistan Army as commission officers. They can join as Permanent Regular Commission (PRC) or Short Service Regular Commission (SSRC).

- 18-8 Years
- Marital Status:
- married/Unmarried
- Training:
- Four-week Basic Training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi.

Armed forces nursing services AFNS Registration Dates for 2022-2023 are as follow.

AFNS Registration Start Date: 12 July 2023 (Expected)
AFNS Registration End Date: 13 August 2023
- Initial Test Date: AFNS test date and time will be mention on the registration slip of each candidate
AFNS Online Registration 2023
Registration procedure of AFNS is Online as well at Army Selection Centres during registration schedule. Candidates can apply online for AFNS Admission 2023
- To apply online visit the official website joinpakarmy.gov.pk
- Click on the AFNS Online Registration form
- Inter CNIC No and press Enter button
- Fill the complete form and submit details (be careful during putting CNIC, Name, and Qualification, etc)
- After registration, a form of Registration slip will b appear Print out this form.
- Test Date and time will not be mentioned on the initially generated slip. Test date and time will be assigned within a week.
- Download again the registration slip with an updated test date and time.

Important:- 1st step of the AFNS Test is the Verbal intelligence test. It containing on 85-90 MCQs to solve within 30 minutes. If a candidate can clear the 1st step, he will ask to start the 2nd step of the Nonverbal intelligence test. It also contains 85-90 MCQs to solve within 30 minutes. Successful candidates can start the 3rd step of the Army Test which is the Academic Test and it containing on 50 MCQs to solve within 30 minutes.

Further Selection procedure
Successful candidates will be listed for the Army Medical test. In this test Measurements of height and chest, weight, eyesight, Color book test, and some other medical test to check major injury on the body, etc.
Shortlisted candidates from initial medical will call for an initial interview at the Army selection center. This is a short interview and not the final interview. Final interview at GHQ of selected candidates.
The final selection will be purely on merit. Candidates will receive a joining letter/admission letter according to the final merit list.
Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI)
This is the oldest post-graduate medical institute in Pakistan and was established on August 18, 1953, as the Army Medical Corps School.
First, it was established in Lahore and In 1957, it was relocated to Rawalpindi. The college was renamed Armed Forces Medical College (AFM College) and finally assumed its current name Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI).
